GUILD WARS FRACTION - Coming this April 28, 2006!

The newest in edu-tainment from the makers of Guild Wars.

Conquer 10/10 of the world of Cantha as you pick 1/2 of the total number of choosable sides to align yourself with - Luxons or Kurzicks! Not only that, but the 2/1 new professions (the Greatest Common Multiplier and the Least-Common-Dominator[sic]) will have you begging for more cross-products.

Earn 66.6% of your Daily Fraction Allowance in Random Divisors - or maybe Hero's Percent! And don't forget the new mission styles: 1/3 v. 1/3 v. 1/3 alliance battles!

All this and more coming to a math-loving retailer near YOU!

And just because a word has an "s" at the end, does not mean that it needs an apostrophe!

Right: GuildWarsGuru
Wrong: GuildWar'sGuru

Argh!

incorrect spelling is a very normal side-effect of internet usage.

I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) in Poland for a few years, and it amuses me greatly that some of my students were more coherent after thier first class than many of the people who write on these forums.

Being an English Teacher at a local HS I can tell you what goes through my mind while reading the crap people type. Mostly, it isn't pleasant because it reminds me of work. I find myself grading the chat log (as if it were a homework assignment), but then I stop myself and ask "What the hell am I doing?"

It makes enjoying the game somewhat difficult. I play to get away from work, but I am constantly reminded of the pile of essays I must grade!
